Living Love Playful Art Classes
The emphasis of these classes is to relax the nervous system through playful creativity.
I have studied yoga and meditation for over 20 years, and through the practice of looking within myself, I have come to realize that the most healing thing we can do is learn how to channel our creative energy into play.
More often than not, we channel our creative energy into anxious thought patterns, but we have the power to redirect that energy. I hope these classes empower you to practice that.
You do not need any experience to attend these classes. All you need is a willingness to try something new.

I lead the classes with watercolor, because I find it to be a very calming medium to play with, but you can use a different medium if you'd like.
All levels of artists are welcome.

Classes are 75 minutes. I offer an additional 15 minutes at the end for everyone to work on their creations.​

​1) Coloring Medium
I lead class with watercolors, but you can use any medium that you like - colored pencils, crayons, markers, or acrylic paints.
2) Paper
For watercolor, I recommend hot or cold-press watercolor paper that is 90lb -140lb.
If you use colored pencils, crayons, or markers, you can use any paper that you'd like.
If you use acrylic paint, I recommend thick card stock or canvas paper.
3) A Pencil and Eraser
4) Black Marker and/or Black Pen
5) A willingness to play!
** If you are using watercolor or acrylic paints, you will also need: **
1) A cup of clean water
2) Paper towels

Make sure that you have a nice flat area to work on - a desk, a table, or a clipboard/drawing board.
Please intend to join class from a PC or Laptop. Bigger screens offer the best viewing experience. ​

I have literally used this pencil for over 20 years. I've never found one that I like better:

I use the .9mm, because I like the boldness of it, but they have .7mm and .5mm sizes, too, if you prefer lighter lead.
