Difficult moments are an invitation to slow down, be present, and be gentle with yourself. Like a flower growing up from the depths of darkness in the Earth, difficult moments are part of us growing into who we are meant to be.

This September is nine years since I picked up the ukulele for the first time. The ukulele inspired me to start singing again after many years of giving up. In celebration of that, I picked out inspiring quotes that remind us it's never too late to start anything our heart calls us to do.
