About Laura's Music
My music is gentle and relaxing, an invitation to slow down and enjoy the moment. I play a wide range of songs - American Songbook, a variety of 50s/60s/70s songs, and a few jazz standards.
I had given up on music for over 12 years. Then in September 2015, I picked up a ukulele for the first time and was inspired to start singing again.
I was very scared to sing for people, but I am so glad I faced that fear. I am amazed by how the path has unfolded and am grateful for the incredibly talented musicians I have met.
I hope my story inspires you.
It is never too late to start any dream.

I released three singles in 2023. They are available on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Pandora, and other streaming platforms.
My friend, Ernie Fortunato, helped me record and produce I Imagine and Over the Rainbow. My friend, Jonathan Hughes, helped me record and produce Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas.

The Arturo Trio
Arturo is an acoustic guitar player with a unique, subtle sound. His arrangements include a wide variety of music - from Great American Songbook to jazz standards to jazzy interpretations of your favorite songs from the 60s and 70s.
I met Arturo in 2017 and he changed my life. He encouraged me to start singing and performing. I am grateful for every opportunity to perform with him.
Arturo performs in New Jersey as a trio with a singer and an instrumental soloist.
Instrumental soloists include: Ernie Fortunato (electric guitar), Anton Denner (saxophone/flute), Efrat Shapira (violin), and Chris Bauer (harmonica).
